Bio:
Matthew Cusack is the Director of Industry and Strategic Partnerships at the Center for Smart Convergent Manufacturing Systems (CSCMS) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). He is responsible for fostering innovation, strategic growth and industry collaboration. Matt develops industry partnerships, guides manufacturing growth initiatives and operational strategies, and helps companies build, enhance, and relocate operations throughout New York State.
Previously, Matt taught at RPI and served as the Entrepreneur in Residence and Lally School faculty. His background spans multiple industries and environments, providing him with practical manufacturing knowledge and a proven track record of successful business growth. His entrepreneurial vision and hands-on expertise allow him to navigate challenges and deliver innovative solutions that strengthen manufacturing operations.
Dedicated to advancing manufacturing innovation and economic development in New York, Matt is passionate about fostering healthy industry relationships and supporting sustainable growth initiatives. Through his leadership at CSCMS, he continues to help organizations improve competitiveness, expand capabilities, and strengthen the RPI and New York State manufacturing ecosystem.
